Eric Moleski, President and Founder of GEN Children’s Charity is passionate about giving back. GEN Children’s Charity, hosts a biennial golf tournament supporting Minnesota-based charities focused on improving the lives of children and youth. Past beneficiaries include, Tandem Resource Center, Hospitality House Youth Development, Banyan Community, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We are honored to partner with GEN Children’s Charity in 2026 where all proceeds will be donated via The Freddie Solum Foundation to the pediatric cancer and blood disorders program at Children’s Minnesota.
Please join us for lunch, 18 holes of golf, on course food, prize raffles and after golf hors d’oeuvres and short program. Check in starts at 11:30 AM, with a shotgun start at 12:30 am.

The Freddie Solum Foundation is dedicated to give back to those organizations who gave us much hope and comfort. The Cancer and Blood disorders program serves more than 3,500 children and their families, each year. They strive to bring hope, healing, and the very best care possible - even in the most challenging moments.

Past Events
Summer Kickoff - Freddie Style
Our family was generously gifted a bench in Freddie’s name at one of our favorite spots, Lake Harriet. A spot our family frequents often - to play at the park, look for ducks, listen to music or to enjoy a treat from Bread and Pickle. To kick off summer of 2025 in true Superhero fashion, we hosted a Donut and Coffee Party at the park. We enjoyed spending time with family and friends and most importantly, sharing Freddie’s bench with loved ones.
The Big Climb - LLS
Team FreddieStrong came out strong to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society — The Big Climb MPLS in 2025. Again, rallied by loved ones, Team FreddieStrong raised nearly $70,000 to help fund critical research in developing treatments and cures for leukemia and lymphoma and improving the quality of life for patients battling blood cancer diagnoses.
